UK Internal Logistics

Our network within the United Kingdom allows Kiwi Motorhome Importing to provide collection and transport services to meet your needs. We can arrange pickup and delivery to the port, or our partners export facility to ensure your motorhome is shipped out from the UK as soon as possible.

UK Handling and Export Documentation

No matter the size of your motorhome, Kiwi Motorhome Importing will ensure your needs are fully met. We take care of the full export and port clearance formalities within the UK, with full international shipping and clearance documentation. We ensure you have the correct documentation for your vehicle to make it as easy as possible to get your motorhome on the road here in NZ to avoid any costly surprises.

Ocean Freight to NZ (RORO-roll on roll off)

Your freight quote will be an all-inclusive cost estimate from the UK to NZ, with no hidden charges. Kiwi Motorhome Importing will take care of the lot: All port service fees, fumigation, shipping line fuel surcharges and other related port handling charges will always be included in the freight rate quoted to you. If you let us know the value of the unit you are looking to ship, we can also provide you with a total landed cost forecast, including the GST and Duty and any expected compliance fees and charges.

Full Cover Marine/transit Insurance

We highly recommend all vehicles shipped to NZ are fully insured. Kiwi Motorhome Importing can provide full cover marine/transit insurance which can cover your vehicle in the unlikely event of total loss or damage occurring during the shipping process from pick up in the UK (if using our transport services) through to delivery to the port of arrival.

NZ Import Handling and Clearances

Kiwi Motorhome Importing will take care of the full import process and New Zealand customs formalities on your behalf including – Arrival documentation – Liaising with shipping lines and port stevedores – Direct the shipment for MPI inspections and clearance – Handle the NZ Customs clearance and pay all GST and Duties on behalf of the client, if that is your preference or you can pay NZ Customs directly.

Delivery to the client

Once the import clearance process is complete; Kiwi Motorhome Importing will provide delivery of your motorhome to our nearest compliance centre for WOF/COF, registration and all other necessary formalities. We will ensure the correct paperwork and information is given to the inspectors, taking the confusion and worry out of your hands. We also arrange with our trusted partners the gas system and electrical inspections/modifications to ensure you meet all legal and safety requirements and certification, enabling you to use your motorhome at all campgrounds around NZ. We can also provide you with fully certified self-containment to enable you to enjoy other camping options throughout NZ.
